a song lyric is painted on my chest "I'm the kid who always looked out the window. failing tests in geography. But I've seen things far beyond just the schoolyard."
I've been saving my favorite doodles since elementary. School is really a struggle for someone with such a strong will. I would have jumped out the window if it weren't for art class. I wish I could go back in time and protect the little 2nd grade Christa when I was so naive. I dedicate this piece to my ADD brother and to my Deviant art cousin Liemryn who doesn't get out of school for 7 years. Sorry Lily- it's not all that fun out of school either. It says 20,000 hours on the desk because that's how much time I spent in the classroom by graduation. We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it. Each day we will feature 5 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you  the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on.
